kani | This is someone who I've known since childhood (we went to school together). Please note that the birth time is or might be incorrect. My question is: what type of ascendant does she have to have in order to make her very soft, nice, emotional, relaxed and even a bit boring. Because that is how she is. She has not one aggressive bone in her body and this despite having so much Arian energy. She also doesn't have the piercing eyes of a Scorpio moon that so many people go on about. I find it so weird, because apart from having Mars in Aries, she also has Mercury and maybe even sun in Aries plus maybe Sun con. Mars but you would never ever say that she has these energies when you meet her. I (who is a triple Pisces) am much much more impulsive, aggressive and wild than her. People always treated her very nicely because she seemed a bit fragile. This is the chart (again, birth time is probably incorrect). |
teasel | Venus conjunct her Stellium, and it looks like Jupiter aspecting, too. I'm an Aries, with Mercury and Jupiter in Aries, and I was similar to your friend, growing up. In recent years, that changed, but I feel like I'm getting back to that way of being. Not completely, but a bit. |
teasel | Jupiter in the 3rd might also have her expressing herself more generously. |

I don't think she does that. People used to call her "sleeping pill" in school. I just wonder whether houses are so much more powerful than signs, because she really doesn't embody either Aries nor Scorpio. Two signs, that are very strong in her chart. |
Dumuzi | maybe the birth time is wrong and she's a taurus rising that could potentially put her moon opposite ascendant and aries placements into the 12th |

The birth time is most probably wrong. I just put 12 pm cause that's in the middle lol. That's why I m wondering what ascendant she has to have in order to make her so ...limp I wanna say. I can't see Taurean stability in her either. She is very laissez-faire, no forcing, no aggression, no dominance. I really do wonder. But yeah, placements in the 12th would make sense. Would that make her really soft? |

i've known some lazy, passive taureans whose idea of stability is just doing the same thing they hate day in and day out without changing it even if it's unhealthy + alcohol all her aries placements in the 12th could do that, so could venus on or near her ascendant and then with a taurus ascendant she'd also likely have chiron in the 1st which could be causing some of those issues too

I'm an Aries with Scorpio rising. I was very quiet in school, due to being bullied, and eventually dropped out.

She was never bullied. Never had issues with people in general because she wasn't confrontational or sneaky at all

I'll give you one example about her "laid back-ness". We used to work for the same company : I was there just for a year, she has been working there since she was 16, so a very long time. We met up for lunch one day and she told me that she got promoted without even trying for it. She was never planning to get promoted but she accepted the promotion because Why not? And this is very characteristic of her life. It feels like things always fell into her lap because she never fought for anything. |

funny i knew a taurus sun who had the same job since he was 16 well into his 20s and accepted being moved up because it was eventually thrown his way not because he had any actual interest in doing more than he did when he started it wouldnt shock me if he still had that job just because he was used to it, he could've easily gotten another job or done something better but he was comfortable with what he had and never asked to do other things or be promoted get raises etc it was only through sheer reliability and being stuck in a routine that involved that particular work place that he got anywhere and it wasnt even a good job he just cared about being able to go to work and afford alcohol to drink afterward, he'd also work on his days off sometimes just because he was used to going to work so it was the only place he could think to go sometimes he'd complain, but he never tried applying anywhere else or doing anything he'd just say "i hate things in my life" then keep going, stubbornly stuck

sounds very similar to my acquaintance. But if she has a Taurus asc she'd still have an Aries sun. Or maybe the Taurus asc with a lot of planets in the 12 would dominate her personality and override her sun sign...? |

I wasn't confrontational or sneaky, either. I was a good kid. Friendly. |

Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars, all conjunct in the 10th house, and Jupiter in the third. |

Oh I wasn't insinuating that you were. I was just stating that she didn't embody the negative traits of Aries and Scorpio. I know that it's mostly good kids who get bullied. |

I have only Mars in the 10th conj. sun from the 9th and I'm very far from being that laid back about work or career. I'm driven, persistent (despite periods of confusion) quick and perfectionistic. Laid back and work doesn't go together for me 😂😂 |

putting a lot of planets in the 12th would really alter the expression of them, a 12th house sun mars etc is going to be muted seeing her would probably help but im really betting on a taurus ascendant
|
teasel | Oh, I missed that this was a noon chart, but Venus in the 10th still stands out to me, for things like that coming easily to her. |

Maybe the houses are a lot more powerful than people really give credit for. I know people who don’t fit their chart and I wonder why, but since I don’t know their birthtime I can get the full picture so maybe the house placements make a big difference. I know some people born the same day month and year as me and its amazing how different we are. ------------------ I appreciate the masterpiece that is you, because your existence alone is art |

I think the same! My boyfriends brother is born a day before me. We have all planets in the same sign, including the moon but a different ascendant. We are very very different! |
